One of these days, this little lady right here is going to be driving an automobile with a hybrid engine in it, and a fuel cell in it. And it's going to work. And I hope I'm around to see it, too.

no doubt bush is equally looking forward to "large sticks with cold fire at the top. hopefully in my lifetime we will see them line our streets and make it easier not to bump into stuff when the sun dies"

Cold fire sticks would be a product of the hydrogen economy. Plus, the sun will never run out because by then it will be economically feasible to use coal tar to power the sun.
