HOWEVER...THE great rock anthem of all times would have to be "Sketches of Winkle" (Rip rip rip van winkle...the hot tub of GUAVA). I mean listen to that guitar work...weedla weedla weedla. OK...so I gotta admit (or "I must omit" as some of my former clients used to say)...I gave GWS AND the Pod a listen back to back (the chirren were napping, otherwise, I don't get to hear much WEEN anymore). I must omit...I forgot the weedla weedla majesticity of "Bumblebee" and the pure romance of "Nan." Plain fact is, both albums utterly kick ass. GWS has a bit more polish, probably due to the Scotchgard Powerbongs which figured so prominently in the recording of the Pod. And I relived the moment when we first listened to "You Fucked Up" together...tears streaming down our faces...laughing HYSTERICALLY. But I just can't get around the magic, the wonder and the AWESOME power of The Stallion.
You'll drive yourself crazy trying to narrow it down. That's why they're the Greatest Band in Any Space-Time Continuum. I heard that Keith Richards said "WEEN! Scragk krogmanga, thems bastids is!" I mean, where do you go from there?
